Sports,Yoga & Karate

Sports and games have an important role to play in thegrowth and development of the mind and body. Indian history of sports dates back to the Vedic times when physical exercises were considered to be a mandatory part of religious rituals.

The importance of sports and games in life is highlighted by the fact that it has social; emotional as well as physical nuances. It helps people to learn to adapt to their environment. It improves social relationships with the people around us.

Participating in team events helps in developing common goals and camaraderie that nurtures young students for life. Sports and games also provide the much-needed recreation and respite from the daily stress of life. It teaches the importance of sportsman spirit, obeying rules and regulations and hard-work. It also helps us in developing attributes such as responsibility, self-confidence, sacrifice, discipline and accountability. Last but not the least, physical exercises help in keeping diseases at bay, thereby improving health and fitness.

Considering the significance of sports in life we have provides a modern infrastructure and sports equipments to our budding young sports enthusiasts. Kho Kho, Kabbaddi, Football, cricket , Skating, Carom and chess are the games which we offer  to our students.

To hone the sports skills of our students, we have Sports Periods in their time table.  

(1) Skating

WE have our own skating rink. Where students from Sr. Kg onwards  starts  learning under the guidance of trained instructors. Many of our students won State Level Competitions.


(2) Yoga

We have yoga activity as our regular course with trained yoga teachers. Students performed different yoga forms at KHEL MAHAKUMBH ( Karnkariya Carnival) and many other competitions. They bring  laurels to school always.
